"This car has by far exceeded my initial expectations of it. Prior to my purchase of a 2002 Celica GT-S I'd always admired their looks from afar, but never gave ownership much thought. Sure, I love sports cars as much as the next nut but being 6' tall, I figured why bother? Yeah, well I can tell you this, I'm glad I bothered. Comfort is not an issue, despite small cabin dimensions. Acceleration is great. Gas mileage is noteworthy, handling is sharp. The Celica charms with styling cues, unparalleled athletic ability and sensibility. This car is dependable, reliable--exactly the overall qualities any friend should have."

"The 2002 Toyota celica is a wonderful little hatch that has surpassed my expectations as sports coupe. I had purchased this new and 4 years later, the car remains a strong performer as an everyday driver. The strong points of this car is definately the reliablity factor that comes with owning a Toyota. The high revving engine is a blast to rip through but does suffer some initial jitters when first accelerating due to lack of low end torque, but once above 3,000 rpms, it just screams through the cabin. Gas mileage is above average, a full tank takes almost 3 weeks to drink with moderate city and high way driving, but once your lead foot takes over, it can quickly dwindle. Interior quality is good for this price vehicle, but wind and road noise is noticeable at cruising speeds of 65 mph and above. Road vibration also makes for a sometimes jarring ride, but with the tight sports suspension, handling characteristics are phenomenal. You just turn the celica in a certain direction and it goes."
