Store position description

Sales Consultants work directly with our customers to help them make a vehicle purchase. Daily activities include explaining what makes CarMax unique, interviewing customers to determine needs and wants, presenting vehicles, taking test drives, running credit applications and processing transaction paperwork, and supporting our online customers via the eSales office. Like any commissioned associate, Sales Consultants determine their own income, which may vary from month to month. With consistent strong sales performance, CarMax Sales Consultants can advance to club level status such as Directors Club and Presidents Club. Many of our most highly compensated associates are Sales Consultants.
