The CarMax Satellite Service Manager will supervise all aspects of the CarMax Service Operations activities through his/her direct reports, including Inventory Associates, Service Consultants, Service Administrator, and Parts Associates. The Satellite Manager will maintain or exceed ALL key performance measures ûKPMÆs, on the Daily Operating Report, Monthly P&L, and Targeted Staffing Reports. In addition, the Satellite Manager will maintain or exceed the CarMax quality standards, monthly retail labor goals, CSI standards, ensure proper administration of related paperwork, including AON receivables, repair order documentation and filing, and participate in the on going recruiting, development and success of CarMax OPS-MIT candidates. The key distinction between a Satellite Service Manager and a Satellite Operations Manager is the requirement for Satellite Operations Manager to have successfully completed both an Inventory Manager PDP, plus 3+ months as the actual Inventory Manager; or successful completion of both and RPM PDP , plus 3+ months as the actual RPM.
