Department profiles
Our full-service Accounting Department provides division accounting, financial reporting, and receivable/payable processing for CarMax Auto Finance. The department also includes the Internal Audit and Compliance group, which utilizes an effective risk management process to ensure compliance with applicable laws, ethical behavior, reliability of financial reporting, and efficiency of operations.
Our Account Servicing department manages all customer accounts, handling everything from credit application processing and customer service to collections and administrative recovery. Using sound decision-making skills and friendly and strong customer service skills, Account Servicing helps all customers ensure their payments are received on time.
The Analytics group ensures the accuracy and flow of internal CAF services, optimizing internal business productivity, analyzing operational strategies and key performance indicators, and implementing credit policy best practices. Through their work streamlining our internal processes, the Analytics team maximizes the potential of CAF accounts and services.
CAF Human Resources manages the Associate-focused areas of CarMax Auto Finance including recruiting, training, and HR services responsibilities.
The CAF Legal Department supports the legal needs of all CarMax Auto Finance Departments in the areas of regulatory compliance, operational risk management, consumer affairs, vendor relations, litigation management, and legislative monitoring.
