"I now know why Lexus is a top quality brand. This car is ten years old with just over 100k on the odometer, and the build quality and ride exceeds that of cars that are 5 years newer with 50k less miles. This car looks great, rides great and has the performance to match its looks. The V8 is strong, with good low-end torque and plenty of top end performance. This car allows you to get in and out of traffic without a worry. For the combination of ride quality and excellence matched with drive performance, there are few that can match what this car offers. I could drive this car to 200k miles."

"The GS400 is a great car. It's fast, handles well,
is very comfortable and looks pretty darn good. Reliability is the best. No problems after 80K of driving. I will buy another if I can find one that has been pampered. Gas consumption is a little high, but that goes with all V8 engines.
A 2000 GS400 with the Platinum Package is the most sought after (and difficult to find) vehicle."

Great Car, December 6, 2008

"I have owned 9 different Lexus vehicles and this one is the most fun to drive. The LS400/430 series is actually a better overall car but not nearly as entertaining as then GS400. I recently sold a 2003 GS430 since the GS400 is a better value. I've owned BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi,
and numerous american vehicles and none of them are as good as a Lexus. The cars just don't break."
