Very Impressed, September 6, 2009

"This is my first Cadillac and I love it. And I'm not a car lover. At this stage in my life, I typically buy with function and value in mind. This car has not disappointed in those terms and the comfort, features, and power has spoiled me.

I bought a Cadillac because: (i) the mechanical quality reviews were excellent, (ii) the price of my used Cadillac was similar to comparably sized domestic vehicles, and (iii) I didn't find and negative reviews by owners. The car has impressed me with the interior and ride comfort and it has plenty of horsepower.

The many features have spoiled my wife and me. She likes to say that the car does everything except lift you out of it, straighten your skirt and pat you on the rear.

We are extremely happy with the car and if this experience continues, I'll be buying Cadillacs for years to come."

Cadillac problems, December 1, 2008

"i bought a 2004 cadillac deville dhs and it was in excellent shape. well its been 2 years since ive had it and i had to replace every motor in the doors for the windows at $300 a piece and the computer system in the dash gives false errors and had to service airbag twice in the 2 years ive owned the car so alot of small problems but it can nickel and dime you to death..ive always had a foreign car but thought i would try an american car well my next car is going to be a foreign car again it doesnt nickel and dime you like american cars do"

Not what you would think, May 29, 2008

"Although I grew up w/the old concept that when you own a "caddy" you've reached
the top, money, career; but I'm dissapointed. It feels very bulky and drives somewhat clumsy (poor turning radius). The more i look at mine the more I dislike the angled look (it slants towards the front). Not quite as one would think. And last; my mechanic tells me after 80k or so miles, the Northstar engine begins to experience problems. However; I noticed in driving the newer model Deville, all the negatives I just gave are gone. The newer models are how a "Caddy" should drive."
