"I was looking for a car to actually drive rather than just steer, and I found it in the Honda S2000. The VTech engine, the 6 speed tranny, the weight, and the handling just make this an incredibly fun car to play with. It may not run a quarter mile with some of the muscle I've owned, but it's quick enough, and on a windy backroad it'll out drive them.
What you gain in the performance and handling, you do not see in terms of gadgets, luxury, or comfort. I'm a fairly good sized guy at 6'1", 240 so the seats, and getting in and out of the car with top up take a little getting used to; there is no GPS, back up camera, bluetooth, outside thermometer, or compass, and not a lot of storage space. If that's what you're looking for buy an Altima Coupe.
But if you love to drive, and want a giant go kart, don't pass up the chance to buy this car.
The one problem I've had is that the car came wih an eight CD chnger mounted in the trunk and it skips going over the smallest bumps. But I've got Sirius!"

the perfect choice for me,

"So. I had been growing tired of my 2000 Accord, rolled 300k, and wanted something fun. Always liked the idea of the S2000, and with the end of the model announced, I knew it was my time to strike. Bought a red 05 with 32k right off of the showroom floor. Total head turner, lots of fun. As others have noted, if you're not a purist, you may want to pass. very simple interior, convenient controls. adequate trunk space- the recessed area in the trunk keeps cargo from shifting. Performance is remarkable considering you're driving a 2L inline4. This is my daily driver. My suggestion is to research tire forums for this car closely, as mine came with underperforming tires. Will reinvest in the original BF Goodrich next month. Will hang on to this one- truly a classic in the making!"

2005 HONDA S2000
More Than A Two-Door Honda,

"My oldest kid graduated from college, next in line got married and moved out, kid number three has her own car... I don't need to drive a family around any more and wanted a personal vehicle that an adult would drive. The Honda S2000 is a great car. A two seat roadster with plenty of power, great handling and styling, and Honda reliability. The cockpit fits just right (I'm 5'9", 160#); everything is at your fingertips. If I could marry this car (whom I refer to as Ms. Gray), I would. The ride is a sports car ride, and the thrill of driving on a summer night in Southern California with the top down has to be experienced. If you want a sports car, find an S2000 and test it out."
