""We just purchased a 2008 Off Road edition of this SUV. It rides smooth for an SUV of this size and has a great deal of features that are phenomenal to have (such as Bluetooth, decent sounding stock system, and fold flat seats). My wife and I are planning many off road and camping (one should check out the tent that can be purchased that extends off of the open tailgate!) adventures with this SUV so I may be writing another review here as time progresses. The only item of note so far is that the fuel economy is not spectacular. But one cannot complain in reality as it IS an SUV;) b3""

"The overall value of the Xterra is good, but it does have a few features that i don't like. There are too many blind spots when your'e looking to the rear or changing lanes. Just backing up to park becomes a chore when looking toward the rear. Also, the standard radio-cd player only holds one cd unless you upgrade. Some vehicles in the same class offer more in this regard."
