Surprisingly fun to drive,

"I rented a base Grand Prix for a week and found myself liking it more every day. At first it took a bit to get used to the layout of cabin, but then I started to appreciate it, and I really enjoyed the car's performance: it takes corners very well and the engine, though not neck-snapping, has plenty of power. Materials quality is okay - I found it just a bit below a 2008 Camry but not close to the luxurious interior of a 2008 Accord. My complaints: the turning radius is poor and rear visibility could be better, making parking/backing akward in tight areas. Also, the trunk though big in cubic feet (16 cu ft) has a narrow opening and odd geometry that seems to limit the capacity. Finally, exiting from the rear seat can be uncomfortable, but with this car I'd always insist on driving! In summary, it's a fun car for a low price, and the onboard fuel computer let's you see how you're doing fuel economy wise to get the most out of your gas money."
