"From the test drive to present day, I have loved the stability and handling of the FJ Cruiser. I find the seats firm yet not hard or uncomfortable. Vision is somewhat limitted by a low roofline over the windsheild as well as the two rear pillars between the rear window and those on the sides. However, big truck-like mirrors provide excellent veiwing for lane changes, turning,etc.. This is a great vehichle for the 4x4 enthusiast as it simply climbs hills and rocky trails like a billy goat. The FJ engine has lots power and lets me trailer my boat and my utility trailer easily, even in the Sierra Nevada mountains. The Fj Cruiser has great sound system with eight speakers around the inside. There are also options for a subwoofer out of the way in the cargo area. The cargo area get larger basically doubling in size with the rear seatbacks folded forward. The only down side for the passengers would be the rear bench seat. If you have several people with long legs riding with you, it can get a bit tight for them. One other thing worth mentioning would be the lack of a forward overhead map light. There is however an interior overhead light just slightly behind the front seatbacks.
The dashboard is well laid out with large easy to use controls and is really pretty cool looking.
The FJ Cruiser exterior is eyecatching and simply different from all other sport utilty vehichles out there. Just sitting still, it looks like it's up to something. This is a great vehichle and I would recomend it based on performance,power, looks, style, and durabilty."
