Great Ride,

"Well worth the plunge, it all that it is cracked up to be. The ride is exceptional, the V6 has plenty of power, with amazing torque when needed to pull or accelerate. I'm not sure what VW have under the hood as it is totally locked down, but 0-60 is a matter of seconds, and when you need to floor it to overtake, or get out of a sticky situation the power pushes you back in your seat. The drive is smooth, it handles very well in the snow and ice and doesn't feel that big, but after driving a regular car, you do notice that this feels expensive. The interior is very cool, mood lighting everywhere, amazing stereo, double french stitching on all seats and the steering wheel. One of the many super features are the Bi-Hexon headlights that turn with the wheels, they light up the side of the road once you make a turn or throw on your turn signal. Once you experience this you're totally sold. Only one problem, you get used to driving it way to quickly and it feels awesome to be in an understated luxury SUV. It's not flash and looks best with mud up the sides! One point that is left out, the fuel econ is not that bad surprisingly. I had a V6 Passat prior to this, and the Touareg is not that much more to run. At present @ $2.50 a gallon for 91, a fill up is around $60 for 350 odd miles. The oil is changed each 6 months. If your on the fence, it is worth it, you'll see!"
