Our Volunteer Program provides opportunities for CarMax Associates to make a lasting impact on their communities. Associates participate in the Volunteer Program as part of a team-building activity or individually.
Volunteer Teams
Through The CarMax Foundation, a store, regional, CarMax Auto Finance, or Home Office manager can make a team-building event more rewarding. Not only does the team provide an important service to the community or organization, but the nonprofit organization is then eligible to receive a grant from The CarMax Foundation.
Individual volunteers
If an individual CarMax Associate volunteers at least 10 hours with a charitable organization, The CarMax Foundation will match his or her time with a donation of $10 per hour.
