If you purchase a 2017 Lincoln MKZ, you'll be able to choose between two different engine options that are available on all trims: a 2.0-liter iVCT Atkinson-cycle I-4 HEV engine for the Hybrid MKZ and a 2.0-liter GTDI I-4 engine for the gas-only model. The hybrid engine of the 2017 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is rated for 188 hp while the gas-only engine of the 2017 Lincoln MKZ is rated for 245 hp. The Select and Reserve trims of the 2017 Lincoln MKZ also offer an optional 3.0-liter GTDI V6 engine that is rated for 350 hp.
The MKZ Hybrid comes with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT) while the gas-only MKZ comes with a six-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission with paddle activation.
