Love the vehicle! Only wish I could change the MPG
2009 Acura MDXEvie Adair - Denver, CO05/04/2017
This is a great vehicle - it's smooth, comfortable, luxurious and, (so far) very reliable. The only thing I wish I could change is the fact that I average 17 mpg and the car takes premium gas. The SH-AWD (Super Handling AWD) is fantastic and it handles amazingly for a vehicle of its size.

My only complaint is that I live so close to work, I don't get to drive it as much as I want to! My fiance and I are 5'11" and 6'3", and this car has leg and head room to spare. The seats are comfortable, they adjust automatically for each driver with push of a button. There is so much technology you feel like you are in a cockpit, so if you like gadgets and tech, this is a great car. Sirius XM came with so loving life.
I could go on all day... I was trying to spend less money than this on a used vehicle, but honestly, I have not regretted the purchase for a moment. It's the favorite car in the family.
Best bang for your buck!

I love my MDX, I have no regrets with my purchase! I have an 2009 with technology package, black on black. My favorite features are the back-up camera, Navigation, AUX plug in, XM radio and key memory system. The key memory is more then just the seat settings. Each driver can save settings like how/when the doors lock/unlock automatically, how long the exterior/interior lights stay on, radio station memory, etc... The few items I would like to see improved are a push button start, blind spot detector and larger 3rd row. Other than that the MDX is a wonderful car and compared to other mid-size SUV's the MDX gives you the best bang for your buck.
The Acura MDX, which entered the market in 2001, was designed to address the need for a high-performance people-mover with an abundance of luxury features. Although the MDX replaced Acura’s SLX, its build was actually based on the popular Honda Pilot. In true Acura style, this newly-developed SUV was infused with the highest-quality comfort and performance features available.
There are an endless amount of cars, crossovers, and trucks in the used vehicle market—and for families seeking a combination of utility and style, few vehicles address these needs better than the used Acura MDX and used Jeep Grand Cherokee. They’re among our top 10 SUVs of 2016, and both are equipped with all the fixings that make for a comfortable drive on the road. They can both be easily loaded up with plenty of cargo, and they’re both available with all-wheel or four-wheel drive.
When the best features of both SUVs and wagons were incorporated into a single vehicle — the crossover — the automobile industry was revolutionized. Crossovers have the ample storage space and off-road capability of SUVs, plus the added practicality and drivability of a wagon. What’s not to love about a crossover?
Vehicles with third-row seating have plenty of features for nearly every type of driver. For families that need a great family-friendly vehicle, SUVs, crossovers, and minivans with third-row seats give passengers roomy interiors and still have enough power to haul plenty of vacation equipment or moving supplies.
