Reviews for 2010 Acura MDX
CARMAX inspection is not accurate
purchased a 2010 Acura MDX with 25,000 miles. less than 30 days I noticed that the car is tilting to the right. called the salesperson at the store in rockville and informed him of the problem. took the car to AAA, they found out that the car is not balanced. called CARMAX to schedule repair but the shop is too busy that I have to wait 30 days. very disappointed after spending more than 30,000 on the car. REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE
The moment I saw this vehicle, I wanted to test drive it. Once I took it for a test drive, I wasn't interested in looking at anything else. I wanted a larger vehicle, an SUV, for my wife. Safety and comfort were my two biggest priorities. After extensive research, the MDX is one of the best SUV's on the market, not to mention Acura is Honda's luxury vehicle. That cemented the deal for me. I've had Honda vehicles all my life and they are quality cars with engines that last forever. I wanted a vehicle that can accommodate a growing family like mine. My wife is pregnant with our first child and I wanted something safer than the Ford Fiesta we had for the last few years. Low and behold, this is the most comfortable car we have ever owned. It feels like driving a Lazy Boy every where we go. It's fantastic! We took a drive to New York to visit family and normally takes about 4 hours - this time took 6 hours (traffic) and we didn't care because of the comfort of the car. The price was about right after doing our research. We could have settled on a CR-V or Pilot, but the comfort quality was no match for the MDX. The style and drive is great. I trust this car to protect my family and that's my number one priority. WE LOVE IT! Recommending CarMax is a whole other issue - service is terrible and undeniably slow. I would recommend the MDX to anyone.
My 2010 MDX is really a great car. It was purchased to replace a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with 230,000 miles. I could not be happier than I am with my MDX. Plenty of room and power to spare. It is well appointed with almost every option available and they all work as advertised. So far the mileage is a little less than the 16 around town as advertised (14 MPG), but most of my trips are 5 miles or less and the Jeep only got around 10 MPG in town. All in all I would recommend the MDX over the other urban assault vehicles I have test driven.
