Great car, with great features. The car is pretty quick and I have to be careful on the freeway. I bought this car because I was going to be traveling from Seattle to Portland several times a month and I needed a car that would be reliable and comfortable, and also would fit our family the rest of the time. The wife fights me for it on days when I am not traveling and the kids love riding in it. The only real downside is the gas mileage. You need premium gas and it averages around 26 to 27 mpg even with heavy freeway driving. I've got it up to 31 mpg when it was exclusively freeway driving, but as soon as you do some city driving it dips down. Overall, it's a great car and I highly recommend it.
Awesome car low mileage
2013 Acura ILXMilan Lim - Burbank, CA10/23/2016
For the Acura ILX 2013 and low mileage it was a great find. The other cars that I looked into also the other mileage of the other cars were high mileage this was a real steal and great deal for the mileage the only thing I didn't like was the small scratches on the car but it's fixable
It would depend on what my friend was looking for, but the ILX is a so-far reliable car with all the necessary creature comforts (I switched from an Audi and don't feel I've compromised at all on the luxury side), decent on gas mileage, and comfortable as a daily driver. For me, it's an ideal city car.
The Acura MDX, which entered the market in 2001, was designed to address the need for a high-performance people-mover with an abundance of luxury features. Although the MDX replaced Acura’s SLX, its build was actually based on the popular Honda Pilot. In true Acura style, this newly-developed SUV was infused with the highest-quality comfort and performance features available.
