It would depend on what my friend was looking for, but the ILX is a so-far reliable car with all the necessary creature comforts (I switched from an Audi and don't feel I've compromised at all on the luxury side), decent on gas mileage, and comfortable as a daily driver. For me, it's an ideal city car.
One thing I own that I truly depend on more than anything else is my car. I use it every day, and without it I wouldnt be able to be the person I am today. I truly love my car more than any other car, there is something about it that makes it so great. I have a 2007 Acura Tsx in navy blue. She has been through a lot of miles on the highway. she still runs almost perfectly because this car is designed just for the highway. It gets 35-40 mpg on the highway compared to like 25 in the city. The color of the car is perfect in my opinion; it hides the dirt in the winter and summer. Although it has a lot of fine little scratches I plan to get that fix in the near future by gettin
Great car, with great features. The car is pretty quick and I have to be careful on the freeway. I bought this car because I was going to be traveling from Seattle to Portland several times a month and I needed a car that would be reliable and comfortable, and also would fit our family the rest of the time. The wife fights me for it on days when I am not traveling and the kids love riding in it. The only real downside is the gas mileage. You need premium gas and it averages around 26 to 27 mpg even with heavy freeway driving. I've got it up to 31 mpg when it was exclusively freeway driving, but as soon as you do some city driving it dips down. Overall, it's a great car and I highly recommend it.
