this is the second TL that i've owned and would recomend it to anyone looking for the best value in a luxury/performance sedan. Honda reliablity, fit and finish is proven once again along with the fact that it holds its' value better than just about anything else at any price range. it has standard features that the lexus, infinity and cadillac don't offer or charge more for: blue tooth connectivity, selectable tilting side mirrors in reverse, XM radio, heated seats, memory seats, auto dimming rear mirror, tire pressure monitor (06 & 07) dvd-a player, eight speaker stereo with 8" subwoofer plus more. if you can spring for the models with the nav, do it (even if you know your way around town) as you can SPEAK to the car telling it to change tempature (i.e.: passenger side 69 degrees) , fan speed, radio ("XM 54")station, find nearest gas station, atm, chinesse food etc, all without taking your hand off the wheel and/or taking your eyes off the road! really. cool. this feature is found only mostly $80k BMW's and Benz. This car is less than half that price with performance that nearly matches the above mentioned cars. my first TL was an 04 that was totaled by a full size truck traveling 45 and i was at a stop, saw him coming. I walked away with whiplash and the airbags didn't deploy, the car took the impact completely. I was hit so hard, i hit the truck in front of me (read: two truck sandwich, walked away w/minor injury). I know what this car can do, i've seen/exprienced it first hand. the 07 type-s is really fast and would recommend it for someone with a need for speed. Taught suspension may not be for everyone on the type-s however.
It's a fun ride. Kind of an affordable luxury car to own. But of I had to think before purchasing I would suggest the newest model
I have owned hondas in the past, but was still surprised at the quality of this vehicle. I am most impressed with eletronic package and how quiet the interior is at all speeds. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone that is looking for quality, luxury and affordability.
