Nice Car!

I bought the Type-S with a 6-speed manual. Overall, a great car. It offers a great combination -- a very sporty family car. My only real complaint is that it has a rattle somewhere in the passenger compartment, and I can't seem to find it or fix it. (that's why I gave it 4 quality stars instead of 5) This is a great looking car, and it is fun to drive. I have always been more of a 2-door person, but if you have to go with 4 doors, this is the car to go with. It has very strong peformance, but at a price: The engine idle is not as smooth has I have come to expect from Honda/Acura, probably a result of the performance tuning and the exhaust. The type-S has a different exhaust system than the standard TL; it has a very nice rumble, almost feels like a V-8. The 6-speed transmission is great -- very smooth, and while there is some torque steer (it's front-wheel drive, after all), it's not as bad as I expected. The seats are probably the most comfortable that I've ever had, and the driver's seat and power mirror adjustments are all connected to a memory system -- you can have 2 presets, and they are linked to the transmitter. If I use my transmitter to unlock the door, the seat goes to my settings. If my wife uses hers, it goes to her settings. The gas mileage isn't bad for a performance V-6. I average 21MPG in mixed city/highway driving. The vehicle requires premium fuel, and the tank is a little small -- I usually get a little less than 300 miles out of a tank of gas. Overall, I'm very happy with this vehicle, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a performance sedan.

Great Car

Great car, with great features. The car is pretty quick and I have to be careful on the freeway. I bought this car because I was going to be traveling from Seattle to Portland several times a month and I needed a car that would be reliable and comfortable, and also would fit our family the rest of the time. The wife fights me for it on days when I am not traveling and the kids love riding in it. The only real downside is the gas mileage. You need premium gas and it averages around 26 to 27 mpg even with heavy freeway driving. I've got it up to 31 mpg when it was exclusively freeway driving, but as soon as you do some city driving it dips down. Overall, it's a great car and I highly recommend it.
