Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Brown Average Vehicle Review: (4.8 reviews) I bought this model brand new in 2005. It had a unique body style and the powerful V-6 purred. I had priced out an Infinity G-35x with all the bells and whistles after having leased the 2WD drive model, and when I came across the TL, it had every feature INCLUDED for nearly $3500 less! So I got the small spoiler to dress up my Silver w/Gray interior. The car truly made my 2.5 to 3 hr commute each way a dream, with amazing sound system - A comfy, clean, smooth ride, on the dime handling with awesome pep and smart, user friendly dash components. I truly missed this car when I gave it up for an SUV to move out West. I wish they hadn't changed the body style (grille and rear) It truly was unique. By far, the best car I've owned!

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Brown Average Vehicle Review: (4.267 reviews) The 2008 is a well-balanced car. Great performance, Excellent features, Reliable, A head turner as it is still one of the most beautiful cars on the road and just an all around pleasure to drive. Truly a best value and the most bang for your buck in the used car market. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and feel fortunate I was able to purchase this vehicle with low mileage, the right color, tech package and excellent condition as they are getting harder and harder to fine. I GOT MINE!!!!

Dream car

The Acura TL-SHAWD has all the horsepower (305) you will ever need. It also sticks to the road as good or better than a BMW-M3. The interior is comfortable and nice looking. All the buttons are where they should be and most are on the steering wheel. Just a well built fun to drive car.

Nice Car!

I bought the Type-S with a 6-speed manual. Overall, a great car. It offers a great combination -- a very sporty family car. My only real complaint is that it has a rattle somewhere in the passenger compartment, and I can't seem to find it or fix it. (that's why I gave it 4 quality stars instead of 5) This is a great looking car, and it is fun to drive. I have always been more of a 2-door person, but if you have to go with 4 doors, this is the car to go with. It has very strong peformance, but at a price: The engine idle is not as smooth has I have come to expect from Honda/Acura, probably a result of the performance tuning and the exhaust. The type-S has a different exhaust system than the standard TL; it has a very nice rumble, almost feels like a V-8. The 6-speed transmission is great -- very smooth, and while there is some torque steer (it's front-wheel drive, after all), it's not as bad as I expected. The seats are probably the most comfortable that I've ever had, and the driver's seat and power mirror adjustments are all connected to a memory system -- you can have 2 presets, and they are linked to the transmitter. If I use my transmitter to unlock the door, the seat goes to my settings. If my wife uses hers, it goes to her settings. The gas mileage isn't bad for a performance V-6. I average 21MPG in mixed city/highway driving. The vehicle requires premium fuel, and the tank is a little small -- I usually get a little less than 300 miles out of a tank of gas. Overall, I'm very happy with this vehicle, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a performance sedan.

Great vehicle for years to come

While doing research to replace a 2010 Subaru Impreza Wagon 2.5i Premium, I wanted to go back to a 6-cylinder near luxury 4-door sedan. I started my research with the usual suspects: Cadillac, Infiniti, and Lexus. Acura simply did not cross my mind until I test drove the TL. The TL while it doesn't have the horsepower of the G37, the refinements and the torque made the difference for me. While I was test driving the G37 I kept thinking that I was driving a 6-cylinder Altima. It was too cramped on the back seat and it felt too narrow compared to the TL. I know I made a great purchase because this car will last and look good for years to come.
