If someone is looking for a vehicle with the interior capacity of a wagon or SUV but doesn't need 4wd or the butch styling of a SUV or cross-over, choices are sparse. The are virtually no "regular" Euro wagons under $40K being made today (2015) with the exception of the VW Golf Sportwagen. Even used BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc., wagons are north of $30K and extremely rare. So, if one wants a reliable regular wagon under $30k, with decent gas mileage, either new or slightly used, the clear choice seems to be the TSX Sportwagon...assuming one can be found. The choices available in other parts of the world are vastly better (Mazda 6 diesel wagon come to mind) but alas, we are in a country in love with SUVs.

I have a 2007 Acura Tsx in navy blue. She has been through a lot of miles on the highway. she still runs almost perfectly because this car is designed just for the highway. Great Starter Luxury Car

This car is great if you want fuel economy (I get 28MPG in mixed driving) and sporty luxury. The low profile tires leave a bit to be desired on the ride, but handling and looks are great! This car has everything I could have ever wanted in a good used car, even with lots of miles on it. The stereo is awesome and as usual, Acura never disappoints in the small things like placement of driver controls and lots of giddy up for a 4 cyl engine.

Acura TSX

My TSX is a six-speed manual, having a beautiful dark blue paint job and a light tan interior. As delivered, the fit and finish were the best I have seen on any car, including 2 BMWs I previously owned. Part of what sold me on the TSX is the rock-solid "thunk" sound made when any of the doors close. I now have 36K miles on it. From performance, reliability, and service standpoints, the car is bulletproof. I just got back from a 5700-mile trip from VA to MT and back, and the car averaged 32mpg. The car requires premium fuel. OEM tires (Michelin HX MXM4) didn't last long (30K). Oil filter location-back face of engine block above transaxle--is cumbersome for changes. Ride is firm, as one would expect of a sports sedan. I live in a hot and humid area in summertime, and AC cools well. Sound system is very nice. A perfect compromise between performance and mileage in $3.00+ per gallon times.
