Just about anything you could want on a car is here, easily accessible and operates intuitively. Comfortable and luxurious appointments everywhere, and feels much bigger inside than I thought it would. Handling is tight and sporty, but is not a true performance car. My wife's RDX - the same engine with a turbo - is a real kick, and will outperform my TSX hands-down, but the TSX is definitely not a laggard. The only other item in the con department is the electronically-assisted steering and accelerator is a little unnatural feeling and less than linear. Overall, I would definitely recommend this car!

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.591 reviews) I upgraded to my 2010 TSX from a 2008 loaded 2dr Ford Focus. I mention that my focus was loaded because although my previous vehicle was smaller comparatively, It had every luxury. My TSX was an excellent upgrade in every sense of the word. It is a larger vehicle, leather interior, standard options that include sunroof. It also has excellent placement of the instrument panel, great driving feel, excellent exceleration, luxurious feel. It is a very well made vehicle, gets excellent gas mileage (Acura recommends Premium fuel). I absoutely love to drive my Acura, it has a good road feel. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who would like a luxury mid-size vehicle with a good reputation. I hope to have many happy years to come with my new vehicle. Thank you Carmax!

Acura TSX

We walked into CarMax looking for a specific BMW i328 found on the internet. It failed to meet expectations so we wandered the lot. A sales rep approached, with no pressure helped us evaluate other cars. After sitting in about 20 cars, (a very patient sales rep) my wife leaned towards the Acura. Honestly she mostly liked the looks. Acura previously had a great reputation but some recent dips with customer satisfaction I was cautious. Several test drives later we bought it. We are still in the honeymoon phase, have only had it for two months. But so far it is very comfortable, and great to drive. I love the controls, instant information provided on the dash, connectivity to her cell phone. Gas mileage has essentially been what was advertised. Looking forward to many years with this car.

Higher end in a smaller package

I drove (and loved) a Lexus ES for years, but now really enjoy the sporty, tight feeling of the TSX. It's fun to drive, has a reputation for being reliable, and has all the amenities I can think of.

Performance based ride

I bought my first TSX in 2006 brand new. I was looking for reliability being a single woman, knowing I'd be taking road trips alone a lot. Navigation was important. I had the car for 8 yrs. It ran very well and was extremely low maintenance compared to other manufacturers I'd owned over the yrs. and looked into. The best news is there's no timing belt to change at 60K miles. At 100K you replace the spark plugs and you're good to go for another 100K. When I got rid of my 2006 it had more than 139K miles on it and would've gone longer. The 2010 I bought pre-owned was in excellent condition and it didn't take much time for me to figure out how to use the gadgets, and get used to the feel of the car, since I'd already owned one. I went for a pre-owned Lexus is250 originally, but hated the handling especially in snow and icy conditions, and it had the speed of a slug so I exchanged it for the TSX. Acura is hands down a faster and better car than Lexus. When you know how a car performs, the gas mileage it gets, the expense associated with maintenance and the reliability level you just stick to what you know. It doesn't hurt that Acura dealers give loaners when you have major servicing done. I like the Acura brand and hope to get myself into an RDX or MDX one day! For the money the value is definitely there. I have yet to be sorry with my car buying decision to go with Acura again, as I've never repeated buying with any manufacturer before. Thus far I have no regrets.
