First, let me say that I am completely satisfied with the car. I just bought a 2012 TDI for my wife. We got a great deal, and I would like to thank CarMax for that. The car is an Audi, so obviously there is no need for a description about how it rides. Das Auto! I would like to comment of the gas mileage. The book says it gets 42 on the highway and 30 in the city. Both numbers are wrong. We have gotten about 45 on the highway and 33 in the city. Granted, my wife and I drive like old ladies. So, if you want a good commuter car with a little luxury than I highly recommend this car. If you want a good commuter car with a diesel engine and youre not concerned with luxury get a VW Golf. Overall, good car!

I love my Audi! The gas usage is minimal, the interior space is abundannt compared to the size of the car, the trunk space is large, and it's a beautiful ride. It rides very smoothly and there is so much ease in the handling of it. The only thing I have to pay very close attention to is how hard I press the accelerator, because the vehicle can GO! The acceleration is excellent as well as the slowing down. I simply am overjoyed with it. Since I love to drive on the open road, I mostly use it on weekends, so I can let the car do what it was created to do! Truth in Engineering!

Have owned the vehicle for 2 months now and am very happy with it. The looks, ride and quality have proven to be top notch for its class. The main reason I purchased the vehicle was for the turbo diesel engine. The engine is very smooth and responsive. The only items I'd like to point out are that so far overall fuel mileage has been lower than expected (36-37 Avg); I was expecting higher fuel economy. My driving habits are very calm and I follow the speed limit, in rare occasions I reach highway speeds in the area I live. Another very important item to consider is the scheduled maintenance cost of this vehicle; although oil changes are every 10k miles, the cost is substantially higher ($140) than the average vehicle; also, roughly every 20k miles, Audi has a "major" maintenance schedule for this vehicle.. that usually ranges from $450 to $550. The vehicle is great looking and I am very happy with it, there are however higher costs to any service when compared to many other car manufactures.
