Had a Mercedes slk (2007) and family has a BMW 7 and 6. Audi just goes above and beyond for value, style, build quality and overall customer satisfaction. I firmly believe that my other cars are designed to fit a price margin and in turn generate an allotted income. Audi on the other hand i feel have brought back the idea of ingenuity and innovation, that of which the luxury car market was drifting. Look at all the cars that now follow in audi's steps in regards to the dotted running lights and the standard of having a screen.. Its ironic that after a competitor steps up quality so do surrounding companies. My a4 is perfect. Although our other cars may be more expensive, we all Say that my car is best. Interms of style inside and out, luxury and performance. Do your self a favor and break the norm ad try this car! :))))))
Great car, handles well, however lacking engine power. I would shoot for a 2010 as the new navigation model is 100 times better than what was used in the 2009 models. I would also go for the 2010; you'll really want the LED tail lamps which is very difficult and expensive trying to upgrade on a 2009 model. Aside from that; the car looks great on the road.
Comfortable ride Economical presence Luxury taken to the next level without the luxury price
With a comprehensive redesign, the Audi A4 is a different car than i was when the 2008 model year came out. The outside is sleeker and wider now, and the inside is roomier, allowing for a higher level of comfort for the driver and passengers. A 6.3" longer wheelbase made for more comfort for rear-seat passengers, allowing for adults to fit much more easily than in past models. In short, Audi listened when its customers said they loved their cars but . The changes were much-needed, and the company delivered.
Audi has been a strong company for years, and when they started bringing their cars to American soil they offered sporty lines and sleek options. The 2009 model offered:
The Audi A4 drives the way one would expect, with class and style, but also with that sports car feel that the company provides. The handling is strong and the steering is responsive, giving the 2009 A4 a great feel. Both the four-cylinder and the six-cylinder versions of the A4 have their advantages, with the V6 being a bit heavier. However, drivers will not really notice the extra weight in the way the car handles. The four-cylinder matches the six-cylinder in acceleration due to the turbocharger, and is identical up to 80 mph, where the V6 gains an advantage due to the higher level of horsepower.
The V6 version of the 2009 Audi A4 had an MSRP of $35,850, while the four-cylinder version was priced just over $16,000 lower. That is a considerable difference, and the used value of the vehicles reflects that. Audis hold their value well, and a 2009 A4 can be purchased for around $25,000 for the V6 version, and around $13,000 for the four-cylinder option.
The sleek design of the 2009 Audi A4 gives drivers all the comfort and sports car feel they crave, providing plenty of strong performance to appreciate. The four-cylinder and six-cylinder options both offer strong acceleration, with 211 and 265 horsepower, respectively. The variable valve timing that was added to the 2009 model is an upgrade from the 2008 version, adding horsepower and torque to the engine. That, coupled with the sophisticated lines Audi always strives to provide, has made the 2009 A4 model a great choice for a sporty feel that melds with elegance.
The strength of the A4 is in the powertrain and the engine, where many give the advantage to the four-cylinder option. The torque is higher than what is offered with the V6 model, and the only difference in speed and power is in excess of 80 mph. Since most people do not drive that fast, at least very often, there is no solid advantage to purchasing the V6. The Audi A4 offers:
In the past, Audi had struggled with providing a comfortable, roomy interior for the driver and passengers. The 2008 A4 really only accommodated children and very small adults in the back seat, but the longer wheelbase and extra inch of rear legroom in the 2009 model has helped change that. The rear seat is now adult-friendly, which is a game changer for Audi and what the company can offer its customers. Some of its options include:
Audi has long been known for its quality and style over the years, and the 2009 A4 is no exception to the rule. With the changes that were made to it from the 2008 model year, it is a better, more well-rounded car for consumers to enjoy.
