2013 Audi AllroadPhil Carabet - San Diego, CA05/05/2017
Beautiful driver - you feel like you own the road while driving. Very comfortable interior, and total utility of a sport wagon... can handle any road conditions. Fuel economy is very limited though (2.0 is not enough engine for this heavy a car) and premium package electronics (vs premium plus) are very clunky.
2005 Audi AllroadScuzzyII - Washington DC08/16/2010
Superb vehicle with incredible road handing capability. Acceleration is almost break neck speed with the turbo charged engine. Take your foot off the accelerator and the car comes almost to a complete stop instantaneously (could be due to the weigh of the car - it is heavy). Suspension is a little stiff, but smooth over rough pavement overall. There is every creature comfort, plus so many bell and whistles imaginable in this wagon. If there is one caveat, it's gas mileage. As long as you do highway driving the Allroad will sip gas at miniscule levels. City driving will consume much much more. Despite that I love this car. Generous cargo area, smooth and eye-catching styling, plus AWD make this a wonder car. Audi Allroad - All The Time!
2005 Audi Allroad 2.7 Turbo, 6 speed manual
2005 Audi AllroadManual Transmission Lover - North Cental New Mexico08/02/2007
I have to say this is my 5th Audi and 1st Allroad. If you want a car that does what you want it to do when you want it to do it, this is the car. The 2.7 liter Turbo coupled with the 6 speed manual transmission provides exceleration from 2 miles an hour to whatever you choose at the top end. If you have to stay at low speeds on village roads (where I live there are several 15 mile an hour roads that I use daily.) 2nd gear speaks with you softly and with respect. No almost stalling or jerky transmission. I live in a mountainous area and this car will climb effortlessly in 5th or 6th gear while keeping at the designated speed limit (75 miles an hour.) The handling is tight and responsive. The negatives are the usual European negatives, non functional cup holders and no reasonable small item storage on the driver or front passanger side. The Europeans don't eat in their cars or worry about small item storage, they drive! Forget about cup holders and map or sunglass storage. This car is made to drive and even over relatively long distances (300 to 500 miles) it is comfortable in both the front and back seats. I also take this car fly fishing in the mountains and to fine dining in the city. It dresses up or down for whatever the occasion. I don't buy new cars and I had to look pretty extensively to find this 6 speed manual transmission. I 'm glad I took the time to find exactly what I was after. Driving should be a pleasure not a commonplace or drugery! Do yourself a favor and seek out the 2.7 liter with the 6 speed manual transmission. Those airline tickets won't look so attractive after you've driven this car. Forget about flying and drive something that will drive you.
There are cars that do the job, and there are cars that get the job done with style. The Cadillac CTS and Audi A6 are two examples of the latter. They’re the kind of cars you can treat yourself to as a reward for hard work, or perhaps as an indulgence. If you’re fortunate to shop for a car like this, it can be mighty hard to choose between the two. Here’s a CarMax comparison to help, whether you’re searching for a used Audi or a used Cadillac for sale.
This sports car buying guide has 18 different sports cars for shoppers who want a little more driving excitement in their lives. There’s something for everyone here, from zippy four-cylinder convertibles to monstrous, 500-horsepower-plus sports cars that really push you back in their driver’s seats!
Luxury cars come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all expected to look good and perform well. One advantage of buying a used luxury car is that you get the luxury look-and-feel that you want at a more affordable price.
Henry Ford once famously told customers that his Model T came in any color they wanted, so long as that color was black. That was over 100 years ago. Today, the vehicles available to us come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a profusion of available options and features. Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
