German engineering & refinement with brutish power

This is tough car to recommend to a friend for a lot of the same reason I purchased it. This car is severely understated, even when it comes to people who know or own Mercedes S-class, BMW 7 series, even some Audi A8 owners. If you're trying to buy this car to impress others, I suggest saving some serious coin & purchase a A8 as it carries the same prestige. If you want to be a "baller" go with AMG S63 or S65. If your looking for a car that cares more about how it drives, You owe it to yourself to take one for a test drive.

I bought one of the first TT convertibles entering the US, so I expected some teething problems, but it has been remarkably problem-free in the 8 years I have owned the car (the longest I have ever owned a car in my life, which just goes to show how much I like it).
The one issue I did experience was a jerky speedometer, which was covered by a recall on the instrument cluster. Other than that, hassle-free. I am sure being based on VW Rabbit underpinnings has something to do with that.
While it won't blow a Porsche away, it is very nimble, sure-footed, and a ton of fun. 4WD contributes to it never breaking away from you under extreme cornering - it's entirely predictable with no surprises for the driver.

I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!! its everything i could want in a sports car! now realisticly!! its not a porche , ferrarri or a giny!!! but she (yeah it's a girl) looks like one of that car class! i get looks from guy's and girls alike! the body is beautiful! that brilliant black paint job is da SHHH! and let's not forget that this particular tt has the V6 3.2 engine! 6 speed! and with hardly any body weight! OMG!! when u hit the gas u better be ready! SHE WILL DO 160!!! maybe 165!!! needless to say ! i have more girlfriends now! and that's what counts!!!! B )
this car was and is worth EVERY CENT!!! .... remember.. very important.. my car came with the big motor.. from what i've seen on the net most tt's come standard automatic with a 2.0 motor.. THAT IS NOT THIS CAR!!! my car is the 2008 audi tt quattro V6 3.2 so that's VERY VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW! ... i was very lucky to get this very special car! goodluck if u looking to buy one of these. cause im keeping this one. lol
There are cars that do the job, and there are cars that get the job done with style. The Cadillac CTS and Audi A6 are two examples of the latter. They’re the kind of cars you can treat yourself to as a reward for hard work, or perhaps as an indulgence. If you’re fortunate to shop for a car like this, it can be mighty hard to choose between the two. Here’s a CarMax comparison to help, whether you’re searching for a used Audi or a used Cadillac for sale.
This sports car buying guide has 18 different sports cars for shoppers who want a little more driving excitement in their lives. There’s something for everyone here, from zippy four-cylinder convertibles to monstrous, 500-horsepower-plus sports cars that really push you back in their driver’s seats!
Luxury cars come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all expected to look good and perform well. One advantage of buying a used luxury car is that you get the luxury look-and-feel that you want at a more affordable price.
Henry Ford once famously told customers that his Model T came in any color they wanted, so long as that color was black. That was over 100 years ago. Today, the vehicles available to us come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a profusion of available options and features. Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
