I love this car. I had a FWD TT and traded it in because I needed a larger car at the time. When I no longer needed the larger car I couldn't wait to get my TT back. This time I opted for the manual and the 3.2 AWD. I love the car, one of the only shortcomings is the NAV system. It is not touch screen. All and all I love the car. No issues with either one. It is not a car you see on every street corner.
This is the most fun car I have ever driven. I'm not really a sports car fan--most of my cars have been much more conservative and practical. However, I have reached an age where I feel I can buy a car more for fun than for practicality. And the TT fits the bill perfectly. It may sound strange, but I feel that the TT drives like it is a part of me, an extension of me. It just does what I want it to do effortlessly. It is fast--corners beautifully--and I love the paddle shifters. In addition, it's just plain the most beautiful car I've seen--I'm always getting compliments on this car. Despite all that, I still average 27-28 mpg around town and over 30 on the highway--so it is not just about fun. To me, it feels like the best combination of form, function, performance and practicality that I have yet encountered. The only minor complaint I have is that the noise level is higher than I would like. I don't know if that is normal for cars this size or if it may be improved with a different set of tires, but for me, a little higher noise level is a small price to pay and is far outweighed by its many good points.
Love it. Even the small 2.0 liter turbo has very good acceleration. Interior is good quality. Convertible top is simple to operate and fast. Exterior looks aggressive yet elegant. The many features satisfy even an engineer-nerd like me. It makes me feel like a race driver.
