I just purchased an Audi TT about two months ago and I must say it has been a very enjoyable car since day one. Great looks and great performance. Also I have the 4cyc model with turbo and I get 30 plus miles on the highway and more then 25 on city streets which is great!! I am 6 foot 3 over 200lbs and I must say the car is not small at all inside. I feel as if I was 6'6 I would have enough head room. The steering wheel has a flat bottom which gives you great leg room. One bad thing I must say is that it does not come with a spare but with a tire inflate kit. With that being said I went online at an auction site and bought and spare and tire jack for the car. Which for still with that in my trunk still have enough room for two weekend trip bags. If you pick to get this car just know it can be an everday driver but due to expensive tires and no spare I would only use it as a second car.
This is the most fun car I have ever driven. I'm not really a sports car fan--most of my cars have been much more conservative and practical. However, I have reached an age where I feel I can buy a car more for fun than for practicality. And the TT fits the bill perfectly. It may sound strange, but I feel that the TT drives like it is a part of me, an extension of me. It just does what I want it to do effortlessly. It is fast--corners beautifully--and I love the paddle shifters. In addition, it's just plain the most beautiful car I've seen--I'm always getting compliments on this car. Despite all that, I still average 27-28 mpg around town and over 30 on the highway--so it is not just about fun. To me, it feels like the best combination of form, function, performance and practicality that I have yet encountered. The only minor complaint I have is that the noise level is higher than I would like. I don't know if that is normal for cars this size or if it may be improved with a different set of tires, but for me, a little higher noise level is a small price to pay and is far outweighed by its many good points.
This is the most fun car I've ever driven. It takes me back to that feeling I had as a kid on the Autopia at Disneyland. Really, it's that fun! It also rides smooth (more than I would expect from this type of car) and the seats are comfortable. I live in a hilly neighborhood and this car has no problems getting up to speed (even with the smaller 4 cylinder engine) and it takes the curves effortlessly. The top goes up and down smoothly and quickly. It also has all the features you would expect in a luxury car. Everything about this car is solid and well-laid out. I'm extremely pleased with it. Wish I'd bought one sooner!
