The Audi TT is a performance oriented car. With that said, it is not a comfortable, smooth riding car. It is a car that offers precise handling, rapid acceleration and on the spot braking. Its design and features follow classic sports car traditions. Buy one if you wish to experience the thrill and pleasure of driving.
I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!! its everything i could want in a sports car! now realisticly!! its not a porche , ferrarri or a giny!!! but she (yeah it's a girl) looks like one of that car class! i get looks from guy's and girls alike! the body is beautiful! that brilliant black paint job is da SHHH! and let's not forget that this particular tt has the V6 3.2 engine! 6 speed! and with hardly any body weight! OMG!! when u hit the gas u better be ready! SHE WILL DO 160!!! maybe 165!!! needless to say ! i have more girlfriends now! and that's what counts!!!! B ) this car was and is worth EVERY CENT!!! .... remember.. very important.. my car came with the big motor.. from what i've seen on the net most tt's come standard automatic with a 2.0 motor.. THAT IS NOT THIS CAR!!! my car is the 2008 audi tt quattro V6 3.2 so that's VERY VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW! ... i was very lucky to get this very special car! goodluck if u looking to buy one of these. cause im keeping this one. lol
I bought the 3.2 Quattro Coupe version of the TT. I specifically hunted down the 08 because Audi have rebalanced the chassis using steel at the rear to make the car handle perfectly neutral. On the track, holding down the traction control button for 5 seconds releases all stability controls and you can truely do four wheel drive drifts through the corners and come out completely under control. In slalom it is as stable as the corvettes and porsche's I watched through the same sections. The comfort in the car is not sacrificed for any of this performance which is why I chose this car over an Evo or an STi. Yes, they generate 50 more bhp, but at the end of the day when I set the cruise control and lay back in the seat it's as quiet and comfortable as any luxury auto. The tires are the only thing I'm going to change. I don't know what came stock on the car, but Falken ZE 512's are on it right now and they let go far before the chassis loses stability.
