Customer Review Summary for BMW 335
335is Quality and performance
2011 BMW 335Dustin Bell - Ventura, CA04/21/2016
I recommend the 335is. The "is" model has a bit lower stance with M suspension, the 19" 313 wheels are some of the best stock wheels in my opinion, and the 335is has a exhaust that is exclusive to that model only. It has a nice gargle when you let off the throttle and is quite throaty. I wanted a manual transmission but after test driving the dual clutch, the choice was easy. The DCT is very much a manual transmission with a auto option in my opinion. Yes you don't have a clutch that you as the driver regulate but the shifts with the DCT are lightening fast and hit hard. This car may not be a e92 M3 but don't be fooled, its a wolf in sheep's clothing making almost 100ftlbs more torque while in overboost. Do yourself favor and get a 335is.
335is (car is a WOLF!) hear it growl
2011 BMW 335WILLIAM G. - City, RI06/06/2016
Amazing automobile . There is a reason they only made a limited number of this car. It's too good to share!!! Feels like I am riding the front of a bottle rocket. This is a purpose built machine with nearly 100 more torque than e92 m3 will shred the streets! Enjoy
2007 BMW 335Jason - Cincinnati, Ohio09/27/2012
I was debating on the 335i and a 328xi, both with manual transmissions, and both in coupe form. I ended up going with the 335i and I'm extremely happy that I did. The 335i has twin turbos where the 328 is naturally aspirated. The added power and performance were night and day when I test drove the respective cars. I would recommend the 335 over the 328 to anyone.
Another thing to note about the BMW vs. most other models is the "fit and finish" difference. With the BMWs (this is my second one) everything seems to be a little better made and a little better quality. The gaps are tighter, the design is more refined, and they (the BMW engineers/car designers) seem to pay attention to the little things. I love the BMW brand and I don't foresee myself driving another brand for a long time, if ever.
Luxury cars come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all expected to look good and perform well. One advantage of buying a used luxury car is that you get the luxury look-and-feel that you want at a more affordable price.
