We do not have children and seldom have anyone else ride with us, but the backseat does seem a bit tight for multiple passengers as once. My previous BMW which I still have, a '99 323i is still an absolute joy to drive, and it feels as good if not better than this newer version '13 328xi. Having said that, the amount of money spent to keep the older BMW going over the years has been outrageous. As it was my only car, I wanted a cheaper, more reliable daily driver like a Camry or Accord. On the lot next to a high mileage Honda I liked was a beautiful, very well kept, very low mileage 2013 mineral gray 328xi for only $2000 more. Noticing this "affordable" BMW lead me back to considering a BMW and I found another one, same color and mileage, but upgraded trim level (luxury line), and had it transported from another store.

Acceleration is great and come with just the right amount of power to be used daily. Also the sound the car makes with the M Performance exhaust from the factory is a must. Rear room is adequate for short trips (adults) and children, but anyone over 6ft will have trouble entering and finding a conformable position. The interior is decent with optional Carbon accents (M performance extra) scattered about inside. Navigation with the BMW iDrive works great, but will take time adjusting to if you are not accustom to its use. Gas Mileage is stated at 19-28MPG, however I average about 19 due to city usage and Sports mode. I would highly recommend this car to anyone!

The car has outstanding power and pickup - gets to 60 in about 6 seconds! It is also surprisingly roomy for a small SUV and holds 4 adults comfortably. Good cargo space. Great handling vehicle too feels like a car. The build of the car feels solid and heavy, but it gives very good gas mileage. Love the panoramic sunroof, and what a great value for the money. Why would you buy a Mazda or Nissan when you can have this? I will say a couple of things - the cabin isn't that quiet, there is a little bit of wind noise. Also, the drivers side drink cup is in an awkward, almost like an afterthought. Honestly they should have just left it out.

The engine revs up ridiculously high before switching gears, which only worsens the already terrible fuel economy. I'm only averaging 17.5mpg COMINED city/highway. I'd expect that from something like an M6, but not a lowly 328i. If looking for a 328 I HIGHLY recommend a newer model that has an 8 speed automatic. I can't stress enough the awful fuel economy of this vehicle. If I could sell it back for near what I paid I would and buy a newer model instead.
