'03 is the best 5 series model to date

If you are shopping for a reliable, dependable, relatively fuel efficient sports sedan, shop no further. The 2003 BMW 530i Sport is the best sports sedan on the market. The overall build quality is unsurpassed in it's price range. The handling is superb. The standard options and available features will pamper even the most particular car enthusiast. It's the perfect combination of functionality and fast! Get the following on your 530i or you will regret it: - premium package - sport package - cold weather package Forget the stereo, they all stink. Instead, do a search for Bavarian Sound Works and upgrade your OEM speakers system with a stage 1 system with Subwoofer. This stereo completes an almost flawless vehicle. 5 stars for the 2003 BMW 530i sedan!

Fantastic Automobile

This is a phenommenal automobile! The isystem is easy to master and very intuitive. The interior is beautiful and classic. the ride is smooth and graceful acceleration. The room inside the cabin is great! I have a 5year old and I took him with me when I purchased the car,and had him get in the back seat. It was a pleasure to drive. The look is classy and a head turner when coming down the street. the performance is well what can i say, "it is the ultimate driving machine"

BMW 530i has unique personality

The '06 530i in my opinion has the best balance of performance and economy in the 5 series. Solid, quiet car. The regular suspension is sufficiently athletic; beware the harsh ride of the sport package suspension [distinguished by black trim over the windows, 7 spoke wheels, front seats with wrap-around bolsters] and the obstacle to entry/exit the wrap around seat bolster may present short people. This is one case where less is more. Basic music/HVAC functions have dash buttons; more advanced functions and settings are accessed via i-Drive electronics. Not hard to master but ccassional drivers will need a refresher. i-Drive may intimidate some drivers. Trunk is hugh. Rear seat is roomy. Driver's cup holder is a joke. Fit and finish is impressive. There was a mid-model year change: The traditional key start was replaced by a bulky electronic smart key and push start/stop button on the dash, this continues to present models. Less ergonomic because it requires two distinct movements in place of inserting and rotating key. BMW is high in driving satisfaction.
