The BMW 7 series has a very smooth and quiet ride. The interior is well equiped and most controls are conveniently located. There is an abundance of room in the rear and it is almost like riding in the back of a limo. The driver's seat massager is also a nice option for long trips. Road noise is almost non-existent even on the roughest of surfaces.
The 4.8 liter V-8 provides plenty of horsepower to make the driving experience smooth when necessary and exhilerating when you want the extra power.
If there is a drawback, it is the iDrive control system. Using the iDrive control is almost clumsy - a touch screen display would be a much better option for audio and navigation controls. Using the menus is also a bit difficult and requires far too much interaction. The navigation (directions) display in the dash is a great feature and it allows the driver to view turn by turn directions without getting too distracted.
The 7-series is a true luxury sedan in every sense.

This is an amazing car, I drove Lincolns and althought I loved them, and they seem to be more confertable, this car is top notch, fast, and fun to drive. It eats gas, oil, and buy the maxcare because things go wrong and it cost a fortune to fix, if you can get over those things then you will enjoy this awesome car!
