This car is ridiculous. 4 doors, super fast, amazing handling. Fits family in comfort. Golf clubs, gear, whatever fits in the big trunk. Fast enough to keep up with a 911. Great stereo, features.
only down side, is even when going light on the right foot, MPG's are downright awful. Driving in city traffic you will get 12-14 MPG's. HW you are lucky to get 18.
All that being said.....my daughter says it best "this is like being on accelerator at knotts berry farm!" and she is 100% right.
The greatest car... in the WORLD
Andrew Morrow - Denver, CO10/03/2016
The E90 M3 is the greatest sports sedan in the world. Tons of power from a truly beautiful V8 engine. The exhaust note goes from a throaty growl at low revs to an insane, mind-erasing scream at redline. Despite the bulges in the fenders and hood, the car blends into the crowd - until you open up the throttle. The M-DCT transmission is a little lumpy when cold and a bit awkward at very low speeds, but the upshifts are brutally fast and the rev-matched downshifts plaster a grin on your face.
Make no mistake: this is NOT a "luxury car" like a base 3 series. The suspension is extremely stiff, especially with the competition package. But if you want the fastest, hardest, craziest, lap-record-setting 4-person car that money can buy, get an M3.
