While I am disappointed that my last vehicle did not hold out a bit longer as I would have preferred to get into a 2011 or 2012 X3, I am thrilled with the change from a BMW sedan to BMW SUV....the gas mileage is very comparable and while the get up and go clearly lacks due to the massive size in comparison with my previous 3 series, the ride is impeccably smooth.
I had done my research and with very few X3's on the websites for sale and other customer reviews and owners reviews I feel confident that me and my BMW will be together for a long time to come :)

BMW X3 Much Better than Lexus RX 350.
2007 BMW X3K. Raywill - Perry, OH06/30/2015
Love the X3. Great in snow, sporty, fun to drive, extra large sunroof, great visibility from back-window, good for hauling mulch and other things for my yard, easy access for the dogs to hop inside, comfortable heated leather sports seats. Bought a 2010 Lexus RX350 a month ago. The Lexus doesn't come close to the BMW and I'm definitely regretting the change.
