I had 3 "mom vans" in a row and it was time to transition to a "me car." Not that I didn't like those vehicles as they'd served their purpose well but that purpose had ended. I still needed storage space in the car and this has lots. It's also comfortable and spacious in the back seat for when the kids come home. We looked at other smaller SUVs like the Nissan Rogue and they just didn't compare. But you knew that. :)

I enjoy the way the X5 drive also the different functions and truly that style. This 2008 was kept in very good condition. When it is cold outside the vehicle heat up very quick also the steering wheel is heated. Love my X5.
still love driving an X5

This is my second X5 and I am enjoying this one more than the first! Great ride and pleny of room. I have the version with rests that extend out under your thighs which makes my long road trips even more comfortable. Great sound from the sound system and plenty of visibility even without the backup camera. Love the extra large and fully automatic sunroof.
The only drawback is the 6-speed transmission. At low speed it seems indecisive which is disconcerting for a high performance buff. If you are listening, BMW, fix the tranny and this vehicle will certainly be an ultimate driving machine!!!
When the best features of both SUVs and wagons were incorporated into a single vehicle — the crossover — the automobile industry was revolutionized. Crossovers have the ample storage space and off-road capability of SUVs, plus the added practicality and drivability of a wagon. What’s not to love about a crossover?
Lots of eager shoppers may be surprised to know that many of the features found on some of the latest 2018 vehicles are already available on newer used cars. Here’s a breakdown of some of these cool features.
