Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.542 reviews) 2 years ownership so far Tons of luxury features Went to IKEA brought giant items with room to spare(Finally) It can drive slow like a king or like a sports car when u in the mood, it drives best on highway, the screaming 2 stage turbo can left all other cars in the dust easily Great gas mileage, nearly 600 highway miles for each tank Fantastic looking headlights and grills, I wish the newer model x5 can keep them Build like a tank, ride like a king and queen, great on snow, now I wish there is more snow in Chicago Thick frame, the car warms up really fast in couple minutes in winter time, unlike my previous Accord's skinny frames takes forever Cost average 2k to maintain per year, which actually cheaper than my 11 years old Honda Accord

It's a BMW, enough said

I have always been a BMW fan. My previous BMW which I still have, a '99 323i is still an absolute joy to drive, and it feels as good if not better than this newer version '13 328xi. Having said that, the amount of money spent to keep the older BMW going over the years has been outrageous. As it was my only car, I wanted a cheaper, more reliable daily driver like a Camry or Accord. On the lot next to a high mileage Honda I liked was a beautiful, very well kept, very low mileage 2013 mineral gray 328xi for only $2000 more. Noticing this "affordable" BMW lead me back to considering a BMW and I found another one, same color and mileage, but upgraded trim level (luxury line), and had it transported from another store.

Awesome car so far!

This car has been excellent in the few months that we've owned it. This is our first BMW and has us considering BMWs for future car choices already. The drive and feel are what make this car great, along with the very sleek styling (black exterior, black interior in our case). The technology and infotainment system are easy enough to use and don't seem as outdated as we expected from a 2011 vehicle. We do not have children and seldom have anyone else ride with us, but the backseat does seem a bit tight for multiple passengers as once. Overall, we've enjoyed driving this car immensely since our purchase. even my wife, who is not a car person, has commented on how much she likes driving the car.

Terrible fuel economy. 6 speed auto is awful.

The 6 speed automatic on this model is not very good. The engine revs up ridiculously high before switching gears, which only worsens the already terrible fuel economy. I'm only averaging 17.5mpg COMINED city/highway. I'd expect that from something like an M6, but not a lowly 328i. If looking for a 328 I HIGHLY recommend a newer model that has an 8 speed automatic. I can't stress enough the awful fuel economy of this vehicle. If I could sell it back for near what I paid I would and buy a newer model instead.
