Great handling, fun to drive, looks fantastic, energizing
I have to admit, this is the second Z4 and they were each a great ride. I had the sportier version first, excellent. Though my fiance classifies me as an aggressive driver, I never once used the sport button. It was an excellent car, that version is also highly recommended! The one I presently have is moreso the luxury version. Very comfy ride, love love love the tan interior with wood-like dash. My 4 year old loves the "head off" (or top down to us "grown ups"). Music, awesome. Nav, great. The navigation is a bit cumbersome. The newer models may have touch screen. This year, it does not. My biggest and only real complaint?? The cup holders. They are touch and expand/retract. That's a cool feature, but they're a bit shallow and are way too big for a can or bottle of something. They have a click function to have the holder to become narrow, but not narrow enough. It still jiggles because it's so shallow. Drinking whatever 1/3 down is probably your safest bet before putting anything in that cup holder. God forbid you hit a pothole or something... Especially with my tan interior. OOPS! All in all, I'd buy this car 10x over. I can keep my beverage consumption to a minimum if it means having such a fun, comfortable car. Definitely a hit!
I love it! Incredible fun in town and suburbs; it has serious acceleration and waay more power than anyone needs. It's more for folks who really appreciate the driving experience than for those interested in comfort--definitely only for the young at heart. On the downside, that driving experience equates to a stiff suspension and being in touch with the road means feeling every pebble on it. On the highway, the noise pretty much means putting the top up to be able to talk or hear the radio. Getting in and out is more suited to the nimble, also. It's a sports car lovers car, and it fills that role wonderfully.
