Loaded & great gas mileage
2005 Buick LaCrossedw - Miramar, FL11/22/2006
I purchased an 05 Lacrosse cxs. This car has the upgraded 3.6L engine with vvt. I've put 6k miles on it and haven't had any trouble. It gets 21-22mpg on avg. Its a smooth riding car and accelerates well. Very quiet and comfortable. Loaded with xm, onstar, sunroof, remote start, backup sensor, etc. Suspension is designed for comfort. Only changes would be a 5speed auto and tighten up the suspension for better cornering.
I would recommend it because of the drive train. The 3.8 liter is easy to work on yourself and is a good engine. The transmission is also pretty Stought. I have owned several GM's and this drive train if treated right will last a long time. However interior is plastic cheese, peaces break due to being flimsy.
Luxury cars come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all expected to look good and perform well. One advantage of buying a used luxury car is that you get the luxury look-and-feel that you want at a more affordable price.
Henry Ford once famously told customers that his Model T came in any color they wanted, so long as that color was black. That was over 100 years ago. Today, the vehicles available to us come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a profusion of available options and features. Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
