Best car I have ever owned

I have owned mustangs, corvettes, trans ams, and other sports cars. This car, is by far, my favorite car. It is beautiful, runs great, handles great, it's fast, and unlike the vettes, I have had you don't get the wind knocked out of you when you hit a pot hole. The interior is super comfortable and even though it is only a 2 seater, interior space isn't terible. For a hard top convertible, the storage isn't bad either. I can still go grocery shopping and fit all my stuff in the trunk.. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!

Cadillac XLR

Great performance car, sorry GM is discontiuning mfg. It is like a Corvette on steroids. Only drawbacks so far is Cadillac should have had a factory installed back wind break. It would have made the ride with the top down even more comfortable. The aftermarket wind breaks are cheesy via installation and attachments. Trying to read the headsup display with polarized sunglasses is impossible along with the navigation screen. If you are looking for a high performance car with class and will turn heads believe me this is the car.

- XLR 8, 2005 Cadillac XLR

XLR

The last year Cadillac made the XLR 2 seated conv. was 2009. The gas mileage is good and the car's 8 cylinder engine works fine with 87 or 89 or high test. This is the perfect car for Florida. 98% of the people that drive, never have any passengers. No ice and snow, perfect winter temperatures.... it's conv. time. Rain on the way, top goes up. This car dropped in value "Big Time". At one time, with all options, this car probably priced out at $90,000. Depending on the year and mileage, you can find a XLR around 30,000. You can't make money with cars but maybe the XLR, will become a collectors item. 2 sets of golf clubs, fit into the trunk, with easy.
