Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.605 reviews) After 120K miles, no breakdowns or mechanical problems of any kind. I can get up to 25 MPG on the highway, but average about 22 combined. It's a quiet and composed ride. It handles very well for a car of its size. The car has started to use some oil, but it hasn't been much of a worry. The timing chain can rattle a bit at startup if the oil level is too low. Most maintenance is very easy for DIY folks, especially oil changes. The only exception to this is for headlight bulb replacement. It's not a simple DIY job, but can be done in your garage if you've got some skills. Spark plugs look difficult, but should only take an hour if you know what you're doing.

2008 CTS Direct Injection

I had researched this car for a few months, and found a good one at CARMAX Louisville to purchase with low mileage. I am totally impressed with this car being very little like the Cadillacs I knew from the 60s and 70s. I highly recommend the Direct Injection Engine and having the FE2 or FE3 Performance Suspension if possible. The upgraded suspension makes this car handle just beautifully. I would not get the AWD unless you live in an area where you can really use it. The fit, finish, performance and style of this car have to truly be seen up close. This is a Car and Driver Top 10 recommendation for 3 years running, and after living with the car for a month now, I know why. I compared this against a 2007 BMW 550i, which was impressive, but I still chose the Cadillac. I remain thrilled with this car, and at this writing I still have almost 2 years of factory warranty. I have found nothing wrong with the car thus far, in any area. To borrow from an older GM advertisement, "This is not your Father's Cadillac". But, this is one very outstanding car. I predict the 2008 Cadillac CTS will become a Classic.

Love my car

I love my CTS. It was an adjustment at first going from an SUV to a car, but I am so comfortable in my car. I used to hate driving, but I actually enjoy it now. I would highly recommend this car. In fact, I don't think I would ever own anything but a Cadillac again. I am totally happy.

2008 Cadillac cts di

I have had my 2008 Cadillac CTS di for a little over a month now. I have no complaints at all. This car handles great is extremely comfortable and turns heads every time I drive it. It has plenty of power and gets good gas mileage. The Bose audio system sounds great . I also have a BMW 335i and this is a much nicer ride with some extra room inside. I would recomend this car to anyone .
