Customer Review Summary for Cadillac Escalade
2007 Cadillac EscaladeScoobyDon't - FL02/28/2012
I bought a used 2005 escalade 5 years ago and have driven it for 50K miles. I have a 2x2 and need a 4x4 so I am forced into buying another vehicle. I have looked at every vehicle it it's class, including new, and I am SO sad I have to give up my old escalade. I am spoiled now and nothing else can compare. However, as another reviewer wrote, I have had ongoing problems with the "skin" on both front and rear consoles as well as with the leather seats (cracking and peeling). The consoles and both front seats have been "reskinned" at the dealer four times and it's happening again. This is disappointing, to be sure, but it is the only problem I have had ... mechanical or otherwise. It's a comfy ride!!
This car makes a statement. Although it is a large SUV it drives and handles like any smaller luxury vehicle. It has style. It's a Cadillac at its best!
2011 Cadillac EXT
2011 Cadillac EscaladeJIM - Los Angeles area03/03/2012
This is the 4th Escalade and 2nd EXT my wife and I have owned since 2000. This car is by far the most comfortable and most fully equiped of the 4.
Particularly we really like the bluetooth capability, digital player interface and rear camera functions.
The variable displacement does give slightly better mileage than the older models. It is a big truck so it does use gas, but for us the ability to tow a heavy trailer and horses is a must. It is a big pickup with tons of style and power.
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
Vehicles with third-row seating have plenty of features for nearly every type of driver. For families that need a great family-friendly vehicle, SUVs, crossovers, and minivans with third-row seats give passengers roomy interiors and still have enough power to haul plenty of vacation equipment or moving supplies.
Lots of eager shoppers may be surprised to know that many of the features found on some of the latest 2018 vehicles are already available on newer used cars. Here’s a breakdown of some of these cool features.
