Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) I own one of these. All I can say about this vheicle is BE READY TO GET RID OF IT ONCE YOUR WARRANTY EXPIRES! This status symbol is ALL LOOKS and NO Value. I purchased one thinking I was going to keep it forever..but it has literally been in and out of the shop at least 7 times for everything from starting issues...odom stopped working.. front end castor bolt coming loose.... AC actuator went out TWICE (2 summers in a row) ..and center console started to peel because of a bad batch of paint during manufacturing. Google these issues, you will see they are very common in Cadillacs...especially the electrical and intermittent starting issues. My problems started just a few months after purchase. What's sad is a lot of the issues are known defects that the buyer is not made aware of by the manufacturer. Please do your homework on these first. Talk to some other owners and honest mechanics. You will see. Thank God for the manufactures warranty and the additional extended warranty I purchased. If not, I would be out of thousands of dollars! I've got to be honest..Cadillac makes some hot looking vehicles but they are NOT worth the hassle or the money. BUYER BEWARE!!

Transmission: Automatic Color:Brown Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.4 reviews) I bought a used 2005 escalade 5 years ago and have driven it for 50K miles. I have a 2x2 and need a 4x4 so I am forced into buying another vehicle. I have looked at every vehicle it it's class, including new, and I am SO sad I have to give up my old escalade. I am spoiled now and nothing else can compare. However, as another reviewer wrote, I have had ongoing problems with the "skin" on both front and rear consoles as well as with the leather seats (cracking and peeling). The consoles and both front seats have been "reskinned" at the dealer four times and it's happening again. This is disappointing, to be sure, but it is the only problem I have had ... mechanical or otherwise. It's a comfy ride!!

Escalade EXT Review

The 2002 Escalade comes fully equipped with many features that are still optional on the current Avalanche. It has some great features over and above a simialrly equipped Avalanche. They are rare so the color and trim that you want maybe hard to find. The Good: *Brakes *Acceleration *Traction and Handling - good for a vehicle of this size *Interior quality despite being the older design *Midgate & removable rear glass There are a few niggling items that could be improved. The Bad: *Repeat Window Regulator failure (on mine anyway) *Loose driver's seat (on mine anyway) *Moderate drive train noise *Cigarette lighters sockets that remain on after the ignition is off *Slight fading of the hard panels of the Bed Cover *Ultrasonic rear park sensors not good when reversing at an angle Overall a good buy!

2008 Escalade lacking just a little bit...

I gave this car an overall 4 stars because it lacks some of the finer amenities found in comparable luxury vehicles. Some people may think it's petty, but I think it should be standard. For instance, there is no bluetooth available to connect to your mobile phone, instead they want you to subscribe to a second service (On Star), which the car isn't used enough to warrant it. The driver controls for windows does not have auto down or up for all windows, like other high end cars have. The escalade still uses a key, no push to start or stop engine. The remote start requires you to press lock then the hold the start button, where other cars you just push the remote start button and it locks the doors automatically and starts your car. It's just the little distinctions that make a car great and this one misses a few of them, but overall the whole package is still better than it's rivals. Great engine performance, interior roon/spaciousness, and exterior looks really set it apart.
