Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4 reviews) I own one of these. All I can say about this vheicle is BE READY TO GET RID OF IT ONCE YOUR WARRANTY EXPIRES! This status symbol is ALL LOOKS and NO Value. I purchased one thinking I was going to keep it forever..but it has literally been in and out of the shop at least 7 times for everything from starting issues...odom stopped working.. front end castor bolt coming loose.... AC actuator went out TWICE (2 summers in a row) ..and center console started to peel because of a bad batch of paint during manufacturing. Google these issues, you will see they are very common in Cadillacs...especially the electrical and intermittent starting issues. My problems started just a few months after purchase. What's sad is a lot of the issues are known defects that the buyer is not made aware of by the manufacturer. Please do your homework on these first. Talk to some other owners and honest mechanics. You will see. Thank God for the manufactures warranty and the additional extended warranty I purchased. If not, I would be out of thousands of dollars! I've got to be honest..Cadillac makes some hot looking vehicles but they are NOT worth the hassle or the money. BUYER BEWARE!!

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.417 reviews) I bought a used 2005 escalade 5 years ago and have driven it for 50K miles. I have a 2x2 and need a 4x4 so I am forced into buying another vehicle. I have looked at every vehicle it it's class, including new, and I am SO sad I have to give up my old escalade. I am spoiled now and nothing else can compare. However, as another reviewer wrote, I have had ongoing problems with the "skin" on both front and rear consoles as well as with the leather seats (cracking and peeling). The consoles and both front seats have been "reskinned" at the dealer four times and it's happening again. This is disappointing, to be sure, but it is the only problem I have had ... mechanical or otherwise. It's a comfy ride!!

Transmission: Automatic Color:Brown Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.4 reviews) I bought this car 2 months ago with 36,000 miles on it and have already had it in for unscheduled service three times. After owning the car for 1 week, the air conditioner blew out. Cadillac kept the car for a week and replaced the clutch to the compressor. After owning the car for 1 1/2 months, the air conditioner blew out AGAIN. This time, they replaced the entire compressor. Now, it is back in service again because the check engine light came on. No word yet why this happened. Thank goodness it is still under the manufacturers warranty. I'm trying to convince myself to keep the car until the warranty expires but I'm thinking of unloading it for a more reliable vehicle. This car looks amazing but has not lived up to my expectations for reliability.

2007 Cadillac ESV

We bought our 2007 ESV with about 39,000 miles in good condition and still under factory warranty. The ESV is great. It has plenty of room, great power and rides very well. The 2007 was not offered with the Platinum package so there is no magnetic ride control, cylinder deactivation and some of the other luxury features. Regardless, we are very happy with the base features as they provide plenty of functionality and comfort. We get around 12 - 13 MPG around the city and up to 19 MPG on the freeway if we take it easy. There are a few areas to watch for. The heated windshield washer needs to be disabled by the dealer due to an electrical issue. The transmission can shift a little roughly but there is an update to the computer software available from GM. There can be some flaking on the interior door handles. Finally, sometimes the badges and dark trim around the doors will show some wear or flaking in the clear coat. Great SUV to buy used with low miles!

Great vehicle

The 2006 Escalade is a fantastic luxury SUV. The ride is smooth, like floating on a cloud, even over bumpier roads. The interior is well appointed, roomy and quiet. I've never owned a SUV prior to this and I was surprised to find how car-like the handling is for a vehicle this size. The acceleration is quick and handling and braking are more than adequate.
