Customer Review Summary for 2006 Cadillac SRX
2006 SRX AWD
2006 Cadillac SRXRon - Albuquerque, NM02/04/2009
We have been very pleased with all aspects of the vehicle. Due to gas prices we chose a 6 cylinder versus an 8 cylinder therefore you see, and feel, the difference in performance, but it's not that bad. The third row seat option helps when needed for short trips when carrying adults. It should be fine for children. The vehicle is perfect for baby boomers that typcially only have 2 total passangers and occasionally have up to 7 total passagers.
We wanted a SUV that offered a smooth, comfortable ride; in-dash GPS, great Stereo sound, sun roof, leather seats, and the latest safety options. The 2006 Cadillac SRX has been a great choice for our family. Luxurious interior coupled with a nice suspension system offers a great ride over bumpy roads. While we don't need a V-8 for everyday needs, the power is nice to have when you need it. With the third row seat, you lose a bit of storage capability (side storage compartments in the rear area would be a nice feature), however, when it is folded flat you have a goodly amount of space for other items, like dogs, bags, or boxes. The large sun roof spans both of the two front rows and the wind shield does a great job of diverting blowing wind into the car when the roof is retracted. Our only complaint is the lack of a jack to plug in our iPod. We are looking forward to our next long road trip.
Nice little car. Not to big nor to small. I am short 5"2' and think there are blind spots in the rear and the room from the seat to the outside seems wide (the floorboard area that you have to stretch over to get out) . A car for a taller person but all in all good. I love the large sunroof. Everyone from 8 tp 80 compliments me on this car. Does not ride like a CTS. 3rd row seat handy.
Lots of eager shoppers may be surprised to know that many of the features found on some of the latest 2018 vehicles are already available on newer used cars. Here’s a breakdown of some of these cool features.
