Cadillac dealer service has been outstanding, but this car has got really poor build quality. We purchased at 42,000 miles and thank God we had warranty remaining. We have had to replace both lane departure sensors, heated seats, left door panel (rattling)...I hope that takes care of what I think is not acceptable in a premium brand. Ride is OK, vehicle is heavy and it shows, brakes are too soft...ride comfort is excellent.
Acceleration is poor. Blind spots are bad. Key fob does not always work. Too many mechanical problems. Paid way too much to Car Max for a car that was not in great shape when I bought it. I will not return there.
Cadillac dealer has been wonderful to work with.
It has some pickup, I prefer the way the Cadillac SRX looks compared to other comparable vehicles to this model. I went for the used model with low miles but I would like the package with heated seats! The base model does not have those. However even the base model is "americal luxury"
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
