Customer Review Summary for 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500
Best Vehicle Ever

My husband and I have owned several vehicles of different makes including a Chevy Tahoe, Nissan Pathfinder, and a BMW X5, and all were very nice, but we LOVE our new Avalanche best of all. We traded the BMW X5 in for our new Avalanche and are very happy about the trade :) I have always compared our vehicles to our Tahoe and now, we have the best of both worlds, room like an SUV and cargo space even bigger than a truck, when needed. I highly recommend anyone who is looking at an SUV to consider the Chevrolet Avalanche; I don't think you will be disappointed!

Rides nice, good power, seat are a little hard and to high for me. Love the fact that you don't have to hold the button to close the sun roof, or to lower both driver and passenger windows. Rubber bed is nice for stuff not moving around but just try to push something in...aint happening. Looks are great, one of the best looking trucks on the road. I've heard better stereo systems even though I have the bose system, and the rear camera is a must, never thought I would need something like that but it rocks! Over all very pleased, and best of all for me is it's a CHEVY.

Having owned a 2002 Avalanche Z66, I'm very familiar with the good characteristics this vehicle has to offer. However, the 2007 is a great improvement. The comfort is much improved while the performance and economy is about the same. Since we travel long distances several times a year with our three grand kids, cargo and passenger space is important. The cargo space is plenty for all we need for a two week stay. If this vehicle's quality, which I have no doubt is improved, is as good as my previous 2002 model, we will easily get over 250,000 miles without any engine or transmission problems. The value of this vehicle is definitely hard to beat, especially being rugged, yet very comfortable to drive.
