Customer Review Summary for 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500
2008 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500DollarBill - Crete, Il02/10/2012
I bought this truck after carefully reviewing and test driving several pick-up trucks and SUV's, but the one thing that stood out to me about the Avalanche was the fact that it is both an SUV and a pick-up truck. My Avalanche is a great fit to my active lifestyle and the wife loves it as well as I. It is a crying shame that this is the last year for the Avalanche, maybe Chevy is going to come out with something that is an equal or better.
Keep up the good work, Chevy

We are very happy with our Avalanche. It provides all the creature comforts we were looking for with the cargo space we wanted. It drives well and I am getting usedo the size.
One problem has just poped up. The driver side power mirror has a problem. It will not power up or down. Just happened 2 days after the 30 day warranty expired. Not a major issue but an annoyance so soon after purchasing the car.

This purchase was my first truck. I recently retired, and thought the Avalanche would match my new life style. The Avalanche is well made, performs well, and offers great passenger and storage space. Wish it was better on gas, but I guess that is expected from a full sized truck.
