Customer Review Summary for 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500
2011 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500Lee Hill - Fort Worth, TX12/05/2015
Flexibility...I can haul, landscaping, drywall, sports equipment and kids. Tough interior and mid gate and removable bed panels are the key to its function. When mid gate is down an 8'-0" long object can be hauled totally enclosed. A 10'-0" long object can be hauled with tail gate down. It spite of any cons this vehicle is the most useful of anything we've ever owned.

Read this review. Especially those on the fence about the Avalanche in general. I test drove a used 2002 Avalanche back in 2007 and purchased it on the spot. I drove it all the way until recently (2013) and decided it was time to get a new vehicle. Went back to Carmax with the thought that I was going to keep an open mind about my options. I spent time looking at other vehicles and their higher price tags. I needed something that could tow, carry my family and have some off road capability. I looked at the Tahoe and Suburban and for 10K higher could not do it. I circled back around to another Avalanche (2011) and bought it on the spot. I love all of the newer features that I did not have in my 02. Sad to hear that 2013 is the last time they will be made.
Anyhow, if you are on the fence, don't be any longer. Get the Avalanche, son!

I've never owned an avalanche before they were out of my price range. When I found this one I took a couple of days to think it over and decided that it was the one.
