Transmission: Automatic Color:Green Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.667 reviews) As a young person who moves frequently and is heavily involved in several activities that require the use of a truck, I found my Avalanche to be THE best bang for my buck. Initially I was going for a standard pick-up truck and considered getting a bed cover, but once I saw the Avalanche, I knew it was the perfect vehicle for my needs. Me and my roommate just moved to a new apartment and didn't even have to use a rental truck (it wouldn't have been too expensive but every little cent counts now). The vehicle drives sooo much smoother than my last car and I am enjoying every aspect of it, from the spaciousness to the "secondary radio" in the back for those friends who don't enjoy "my type of music". I don't know what else to say except that I love love LOVE my Chevy Avalanche!!!

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.5 reviews) What is there not to love about the Avalanche. I am a little bias; however, it is a great truck. I just took it from Chicago to Orlando and back. Perfect ride, great gas compare to others in the same class. Great at climbing moutains in Tennessee and keeping the AC cold in 100 degree heat and 100% humitidy. I really enjoy the Avalanche. There is none other like it. LoL. You should go out and buy just to have the same experiance.

Excellent truck that fits my needs

My truck has already proven useful for projects at home, be it fitting 4' x 8' sheets of plywood in the back w/the mid-gate down. Or, be it filling the bed up with mulch at the recycling center. The truck is also extremely comfortable for a daily commute and long trips. So far, our longest trip was from the DC Area to Myrtle Beach. The truck has no problems with the Appalachians when heading back to Pburgh. Daily driving on 95 / 495 is not an issue; keeps up with traffic. Ride height is excellent to see what's up ahead. Family friendly. We fit 3 of my 10 y/o son's friends in the back seat with room to spare.
