I've had this car for a little over a month now and so far I'm glad I made this purchase. It's small but has enough room that my 6 ft. tall husband is not uncomfortable driving it or riding in it. It is also good on gas in regards to highway miles, about 30/gal. Not so great with stop and go miles but not low enough to cry about. Probably 20-24/gal, depending on how much stop/go and use of AC, etc. The ride itself is smooth. You don't feel every bump in the road. I don't feel like I've had the car long enough to make an educated guess on how great the engine is, but so far so good.
Overall, I would make this purchase again.

I am enjoying the Chevrolet Aveo that I purchased in May. The gas mileage, of course, is terrific. I also enjoy the 5-speed manual transmission. Since I am a child of the 60s, I have always liked the stick versus automatics.
I recommend this brand for sensible, economical transportation. Also, CarMax is an excellent dealer with a variety of models for shopping.
